Single Ply
Introduction

Ever since their introduction to the United Kingdom some 25 years ago, Single Ply membranes have been increasing in popularity as an alternative to traditional flat roof coverings.

Single Ply membranes can be easily installed on a variety of different roof types, such as flat roofs, curved or domed roofs and even installed as a vertical cladding.

The membranes are strong flexible sheets of either a PVC or TPO composition which are welded together to form a single complete covering over a flat roof.

Why Choose Single Ply?

Versatile Systems
Allows clients to choose from a variety of design, performance and aesthetic options for their finished roof system. Single Ply membranes are also a highly popular choice for refurbishment works.

Quick & Easy Installation
Due to the flexibility of Single Ply membranes and the availability of preformed accessory products such as corners, field installations and details using Single Ply are much quicker than traditional coverings.

Durable
All membranes supplied for new contracts are covered by product warranty periods, offering clients peace of mind. British Board of Agrément certificates identify Single Ply membranes having life expectancy's 'in excess of 30 years'.

Lightweight
Single Ply membranes are light in weight taking pressure off from the underlying support structure which in turn can reduce construction costs.

Care & Maintenance
Single Ply installations do not require post-installation applications such as paints or re-saturants to keep them in good condition. They are easy to clean and maintain, requiring minimal attention.

Approved Installers
Only approved contractors are allowed purchase and install Single Ply membranes. All operatives must pass installation courses and are continually trained on updates to working manuals.

Safe Working Conditions
Single Ply membrane installations do not require any naked flames or hot melt adhesives on site, which reduces the health and safety risks and therefore the insurance costs.
